1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using rsvrepair.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RSV Repair provides a file recovery service for corrupted Sony .RSV video files. We attempt to repair corrupted .RSV files and convert them into playable .MP4 video files. The Service includes:

An online pricing calculator for determining recovery costs
Secure file upload infrastructure
Automated and manual file repair processing
Secure file download for recovered footage

3. Payment Terms

All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and are displayed on our pricing page.
Payment is required before file processing begins.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Pricing is based on the uploaded file size, as determined by our system.
All payments are subject to our Refund Policy.

4. Money-Back Guarantee

If we are unable to recover playable video from your uploaded .RSV file, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid. See our Refund Policy for complete details.

5. File Upload & Ownership

By uploading a file to our Service, you represent and warrant that:

You own the file or have authorization to submit it for recovery
The file does not contain illegal content
You grant us a limited, temporary license to process the file solely for the purpose of providing the recovery service

We do not claim any ownership rights over your uploaded or recovered files. All intellectual property rights in your footage remain with you.

6. File Retention & Deletion

Uploaded and recovered files are stored on our encrypted infrastructure for a maximum of 30 days after delivery. After this period, all files are automatically and permanently deleted. You may request early deletion at any time by contacting support@rsvrepair.com.

7. Limitations of Service

While we strive for the highest recovery success rate, we cannot guarantee recovery in all cases. Factors that may prevent recovery include:

Severe physical damage to the original storage media
Files that have been modified by other recovery software
Files with heavily corrupted raw video data (beyond header/index damage)
Files that are not genuine Sony .RSV recovery files

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSV Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific recovery order in question.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile our repair software
Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

11. Intellectual Property

The RSV Repair website, brand, logos, and proprietary repair software are the intellectual property of RSV Repair. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our express written consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
